Upinde ROOTS provides a viable alternative to help urban residents cut their food expenses and create a small but effective mechanism to control a portion of their food source. Churches, schools, and community organizations can start their own community micro-farms without the need to remediate the soil or to break up concrete in order to start a farming project.
